A great find for an out of town couple looking for quick sushi and grocery items after a long drive. This Japanese grocery store has a good selection while not being large and overwhelming. Sashimi grade fish was fresh and delicious.
One World Market has been serving the Japanese community and those who enjoy Japanese food for decades and does an excellent job. If you can’t find the Japanese ingredients or food here you will not in other Detroit area shops. I particularly enjoy purchasing high quality sashimi. A vast variety. More then in the typical sushi restaurant. Very high quality. Just prior to Covid19 one typically had a choice of four or five types of toro for example. Now two or three. Highly recommended.
The sushi was amazing. By far the best sushi from a grocery store! The fish tasted fresh. It was flavorful and reasonably priced! I will definitely come here again if I’m ever in the area!
