O'SUSHI NOVI KOREAN BBQ & JAPANESE CUISINE

Extremely odd experience. We placed an online order then immediately noticed it sent to the wrong location. We called and the lady said jesus christ we are almost done with your order. We said we literally just placed it. She just started cussing very weird experience. We just said cancel it and got off the phone. Anyways, I would avoid the Novi location. The other location is great.

I live 5 minutes away and I have only visited this restaurant a handful of times. Each time the dining experience is ordinary and hospitality isn't great. The wait staff seems to favor Korean customers. However, my most recent visit is the most dissapointing and it would certainly be my last visit. I wanted to share my experience so that you could decide if it is worth coming. The food we ordered was dissapointing to say the least - Gan Jjajang was mostly raw onions, Shio Saba was salty and undercooked, the chicken tampura was bland and flavorless, seafood pancake was mostly green onions, very little seafood, and it tasted gummy. In addition, while every other table at the restaurant was served with 5 small side dishes (Banchan), we were served only 3 Banchan. One of them contained pickled cucumber that was filled less than half full, looking like left over from another dining party. We inquired about the other side dishes and the waitress brought one more - kimchi. Needless to say, we would not return to O'Sushi.

They treat customers very awful,the skinny lady was so rude,came and told us our order was so complicated that’s why they bring for last meal.I DONT even customized any order but she said that,never asking us from beginning to last minute
If you are not Korean people,don’t waist money here.Keep your money for some places else better

Update: use to be great but over the years it really has gone downhill. I like to order the tempura udon. It use to come with tempura vegetables and a dipping sauce but that is gone. Now they give you two pieces of shrimp with the udon in a plastic bowl. Near the end of my meal I found some black lint. I have been going there for years so I just paid for my food and left but won’t be returning anymore. Very disappointing and super disgusting.

The many times I come here, it seems like they treat their Korean customers so much better compared to us non Koreans. We have to ask for more side dishes. The waitress never came back to ask if we were doing ok, how was the food, or even refill my water.

First time at the restaurant in Novi. The restaurant is not too big but can comfortably accommodate 4 to 8 people. We ordered quite a bit of food from sushi to Kalbi Tang and Tofu. The food is fresh and tasty but a bit pricey. Our table was a bit too small for us. My only complaint is that the cup of hot water we wanted tasted like hot tap water. It was bad so we didn't drink it. Service was fair.

Disappointed. All Korean customers sitting by us were served side dishes but not us. They asked us to pay $5. We were there quite a few times before but won't come back again.

A five-star place turns into a one-star place. I can't believe they have the arrogance to charge for bonchon when I'm spending $75. I couldn't confirm it but it felt like Koreans were getting it included. Either way no clear policy or warning or repeat customers leaves a horrible taste in my mouth.

Amazing food, and sushi prices are more amazing. Salmon hand rolls with avocado is really good.
