“went and got a chicken shawarma from the food truck on Grand River and livernois, I wasn't pleased with it I'm not used to my chicken shawarma being made like a panini. the chicken was a little dry and he could have put more garlic on it. but I'll be back to try other things. I'm just not used to my chicken shawarma being hard or crunchy.“

“We had Kal's for the first time today, and my goodness it was so delicious! We enjoyed a cream chicken bowl with hummus; the loaded Falafel starter; and fattoush salad. It was absolutely delightful how fresh everything was. The cream chicken bowl was wonderful, the chicken was tender and crispy on the outside. the salad was the freshest I've had in ages. The loaded Falafel was like nothing we've ever had, the Amba mango sauce is an absolute tasty surprise! The portions are huge the services phenomenal, the prices are on point, and we are already planning a return visit!“

“I love this place, the food is delicious! The service is usually quick and always friendly.
Where i have a problem is the fact that they now charge $1.00 for a small cup a feta and olives that used to be free. I understand times are changing and the price of everything is going up but to charge for feta cheese when there is no free cheese option seems dumb to me. This seems like a quick way to make $1 more on each entrée. Everyone knows feta goes hand in hand with middleeastern food, I don't think this should be uncharged.
That's the end of my rant.“

However, I won’t be a regular here unless they start having some organic options. What’s the point of eating fresh fruit if I’m getting big doses of pesticides, fungicides, fertilizer etc?“

“Tried smoothie here which was delicious. Also tried one of the juice cleanses. Felt clean and refreshed after. Bit pricey so I do not come often. Staff has been friendly and helpful here. Parking directly by the store can be a pain.

“Tucked into a little strip just off Woodward with office buildings all around, this suburban deli is probably the antithesis of a NYC deli: quiet, relaxing, more like a coffee house with food instead. They do a heck of a takeaway business as I found out while I ate in.An avuncular gentleman greeted me well before I made it to the counter. Great sense of humor, too. He joked with the other staff when not waiting on customers.I ordered a full Chicken Greek grilled wrap. Everything is available as full or half. Full wraps are $13, halves are $10. The other sandwiches are similarly priced.Only had to wait a couple minutes for my sandwich to be made.It was mildly flavored, the Greek/Italian dressing & feta really the only flavor involved. No olives, lots of iceberg and some tomato accompanied the chicken, as well. A touch dry, too.Plenty of seating if you want to stay. They even have electrical outlets under benches so you can recharge your electronic leash, I mean, cell phone.There is a restroom but you have to go into the kitchen to get there.

Vegetarian options: Salads, soups, quesadillas and sandwiches can all be had without meat.

Parking: 22 spaces in front.

Kid-friendliness: Unless your kids are feral beasts, they'll be fine here.

“The manager by the name of Bionca was amazing! She was very attentive an had a very positive spirit. Bionca was very helpful and she also had great customer service as I was standing in line watching her take other customers order. She was very helpful and very patient once it was my turn to place my order. I really didn’t know what I wanted, but she turned me on to y’all wonderful chicken Caesar salad wrap with the delicious Mucho mango smoothie I was kind of going through something, but she made my day and put a smile on my face she really changed my mind about coming back to you all store. I came to your store previously, and it was a young lady by the name of moon that was there and she act like she didn’t want to take my order and she was not patient she had a very bad attitude and a very nasty disposition. she moves with very little enthusiastic as if she don’t want to work. I mean you applied for the job for a reason. I feel that you should work with a positive attitude and treat people how you want to be treated but I feel that she clearly doesn’t like her job and she needs training on great customer service because she has a very poor attitude but again, thanks to Bionca I will be coming back“

“I had a sunrise sunset smoothie here. It's delicious with reasonable price. It's a bit hot in the restaurant as they don't have air conditioning inside and I saw they use air cooler machines which is not enough to cool the whole restaurant.“
