Driving through and stopped to eat lunch with my husband. As a big food and service critic, my husband and I was blown away with not only the service but the food and atmosphere as well. Food is smoked on-site, atmosphere felt like being at grandma's house. Our waitress was on point and came to check on us after our first 2 bites. My husband and I had the ruben sandwiches. Some good eatin right here. Came for breakfast. The house smoked sausage was great, juicy and full of flavor. The biscuits and gravy are good as well. Staff are very friendly. Great place to stop and grab a bite.
Very good home style food. I had the meatloaf dinner, baked potato, green beans, applesauce. You won't go away hungry. Others in our group had breakfast, walleye dinner, beef barley soup. Service was good. But not exceptional. Nice quiet place to visit. Down home atmosphere. Desserts look good, but we didn't indulge.
