I love the convenient location of Southern Spice Indian Cuisine in Okemos, right off the main road and easy to find. The warm, colorful decor creates a relaxed ambiance that makes me want to stay longer. The staff are friendly and attentive, always checking on our table without being intrusive. The food is flavorful and authentic; the chicken tikka masala and the vegetarian samosas are consistently delicious. This is definitely one of the best Indian restaurants I have visited.
5/5 stars - We had brunch, vada sambar and dosa was awesome. We also ordered Old City Chicken Biriyani and Nalli Biriyani. Very flavorful and meat cooked to perfection, falling off the bone.
