The food is good but really heavy. Service was great, and the atmosphere is old Italian restaurant vibes. I’d come back but would avoid the heavy palomino and marinara sauce.
Wow! We are visiting friends in the area & they took us out for dinner to Valentino's. What a special place! The atmosphere, the staff, the food...all exceptionally good. Well, well done! We are from the Boston area, where there are many fine Italian restaurants...particularly in the North End. We've eaten at many of them, and Valentino's is among the best we've been to. A+++
Everything is made from scratch and not cooked until you order. Their tomato basil soup was the best I have tasted. I ordered the gluten free build your own pasta with Palomino sauce and I add broccoli. It was delicious and so full of flavor. Friendly staff and charming ambience. This was my first visit, but I will be returning.
