La Cantina is the perfect blend of classic Italian cooking and midwest charm. Outstanding service! Our served Jazmin was attentive and recommended the peanut butter cream pie. The pie was awesome! Graham cracker crust with chocolate ganache topping. We will come back again. Suggest you arrive early and get a table with a view of the river.
We have visited LaCantina several times. For Birthdays or just a great meal. Service is always wonderful and friendly. Food is authentic and delicious, large portions. Atmosphere is lovely. Real Italian inspired, lighting temperature and decor, All good.
Unexpected find in downtown Paw Paw. Heading in I thought it was Mexican. No, pisano, it's Italian. My mealmates raved about the chicken Marsala and it did look good. My prosaic spaghetti and meatballs was quite ordinary, even a little dry on the balls and sweet on the marinara. Bad on me for not ordering something a little more interesting. Three dinners plus two glasses of vino and tip for about $100 -- not bad. BTW, order the bread basket -- mama mia, that's almost...
