Easily one of the best restaurants in Northern Michigan. And the service is second to none. I’ve been coming to Burt Lake since I was 2, 44 years ago. DLB has always been part of our dining plans. This year, we went 3 times. Sam, Tammy and AT were amazing servers. Quality food and service…can’t be beat. The best Wedge Salad you’ll ever find. Those caramelized onions are life changing. And the Shrimp Lenny is delicious.
The French Onion soup was excellent as a starter and the Cobb salad was one of the best that we have had. The stuffed shrimp were exceptional as an entree. Party of 4 and they exceeded everyone's expectations.
Our group was 12 large on the last night DLB was open for the 2025 “summer season”. The entertainment was fun (Mike Ridley). Our server was fabulous and she worked with our group to separate bills for our convenience. The hostess, Margaret, was excellent in her communication with me throughout the reservation process (for multiple occasions). The food was outstanding as always. See you next summer!
