I have been going to the Douglas lake bar for a few years. I enjoy the atmosphere and a good espresso martini and steak. My issue is the main bartender. She didn’t wear a shirt that matched anybody else. She was awful. No eye contact, just pure attitude. I asked the hostess her name and she said Mary. Anyways, everything is great besides her. She needs a class on how to treat customers.
We made our annual family vacation trip to DLB this week and were reminded of why we consistently return year after year. We came with two young children and the staff could not have been more accommodating, from kids cups and menus to coloring books. Food and drinks were incredible as expected. Thank you DLB for such a wonderful birthday evening, see you next summer!
As usual we had an incredible evening. Sue is the best server on the face of the Earth and made us all feel very special. She recommended the halibut special and I'm so glad I got it. Everything was wonderful.
