“I love the original flavors that the burst offers and how they are bringing new and fun desserts to our area. However, I personally feel like the service is sometimes hit and miss and the fruit pastries are lack luster in size and decoration/ design. If I’m paying $10 for a fruit pastries I’d like it to look close to the ones on TikTok and so on, the flavors were great but the presentation was not.”

Answer...No.Super friendly atmosphere with ample seating inside and out if you wish to sit outside. 90 percent skiiers/snowboarders but there seem to be a few locals that like to visit depending on the weather. Everyone there is there to have fun. You can make new acquaintances there if you like, or just chill out minding your own business.The pub requires guests to be 21 +, so leave the kids behind if you can.Bob the bartender is a great guy and a professional. He will set you up. Drinks only. No food options in the pub.Friendly hint, if possible bring a few bucks cash with you to tip. The credit card machine does not allow a person to add gratuity. I don't normally carry much cash anymore. What little I did have went into the tip jar. I will know better next time.”

“Great stay, definitely recommend! We staid for a night between biking the heritage trail and the little traverse wheelway. Host provided a nice intro of the property, suggestions on places to see in the area, and helpful info on our biking route. Make sure you budget time to enjoy the views out front and back - very cool!”

We had Champagne and cookies provided to us upon arrival, the rooms were beautifully upgraded/ maintained, the skiing was challenging, and the hot tub area with poolside service was perfect. Food was consistently good in all of the restaurants we tried. Definitely will be back!”

The soup and salad bar hit the spot, with some delicious and creative soups, and matched with a great salad selection. We enjoyed every part of our meal and the service, even had to take a slice of carrot cake to go because who can turn down homemade desserts.”

“I needed eight pizzas for my manufacturing team in Pellston on the Saturday after the last big blizzard. I called BC Pizza of Alanson right at 11am so I could get pizza to my crew as fast as possible. These folks were on it. The service was super friendly, the pizza was hot out of the oven and it was delicious. Thanks for making a long week a lot better. Will definitely be back!”

“Coming from a Major Food Snob- Teddy Griffin’s is 5 Stars!!! Ive been looking for good food in Indian River, Cheboygan and surrounding areas all Summer. I finally had a meal I LOVED and Raved about. We started with Lamb Lollipops- Yum! The Chicken Picatta is packed with flavor and just so darn good. Pecan Crusted Whitefish was another excellent choice and we followed it with a slice of Carrot Cake. Compliments to the Chef! We will be back!!”
