We stayed at Stafford's Crooked River Lodge recently, and staff recommended Northwood for dinner on our first night up north. We loved it! Nice decor, great, friendly service, amazing food. Highly recommend!
Our favorite go to when we are in the area! Food and service is always the best. Menu offers many choices but you can never go wrong with the fish dishes. We have never had a bad meal here. We recently celebrated my daughters 40th birthday with a party of ten and going here was my pick. Everyone loved their food, Courtney was awesome! This restaurant is just the best all around!

Based on the reviews, Northwood | Family Restaurant is a super cute family restaurant with great atmosphere and super cute decor. The service is great, with friendly and attentive staff. The food is amazing and delicious, with an extensive lunch menu with very reasonable prices. The portions are huge, and the price point is perfect for what is included. Specific meals mentioned include a hot roast beef sandwich with home made mashed, a hamburger with hand patted patties, and options from steaks to pasta to sandwiches. All chicken and beef is cut right in the kitchen. There is a daily specials board that feels like eating at Grandmas house. The water is especially good from an Artisan well, and they grind fresh coffee beans to brew excellent coffee. The restaurant is a long standing corner stone of the rural community and a year round neighborhood go-to.
