The server did an amazing job. It was my girlfriend's birthday celebration and all of my special requests were accommodated and the food was spectacular. Amazing!

We have visited Chandler's twice now, once for brunch and most recently for dinner, and both experiences were excellent. The food is well crafted and thoughtfully composed, showing clear intention from the kitchen. Courses were fired at a comfortable, professional pace that allowed the meal to unfold naturally without feeling rushed or stalled. The front-of-house manager was actively visible in the dining room throughout service. While we did not receive a formal table touch, service never suffered for it. Everything was handled seamlessly. Our server, Dawn B., was outstanding. She executed every step of service with precision and confidence. And a special callout here, the best crumber service in Petoskey. Attentive, timely, and done without disrupting the table, which is a detail too often overlooked. Chandler's is doing things the right way, both in the kitchen and on the floor. A must-visit restaurant when you are in the Petoskey area.

Chandlers is one of our favorites. The food is consistently excellent and the staff is welcoming. You will need a reservation and lunch is just as excellent as dinner.

We went for a quick dinner before night skiing. We were sat in the cellar room and ambiance was perfect. Daniel was our experienced server and he gave comfortable, knowledgeable service. We had Tuna Roll, Crab Cake, Wellfleet Oysters, Steak Tartare and 3 filets. Everything was very tasty. The bar area seemed very cozy, but I can see how the seating could appear tight, and right by the door would be hard to enjoy. This place is upscale, great food and service, without pretense, and knowing downtown Petoskey is limited with space. Come seeking an after ski vibe, looking for cozy and good food/service and you will be happy.

We have been dining here for 8 years. This was one of our best times! Dan was our server and he is awesome!!!

The entire staff was cheery and lovely, and the atmosphere WOULD be great if you weren't crammed in there like sardines. Someone sitting tightly to their own table has their back quite literally up against the side of the next one. There's very little wiggle room between anything at all. Just inside the door you've got a barstool 2 feet in, a table next to that just as close and the hostess stand completing the very intimate circle. The filet was good, the mushroom risotto was incredibly bland and tasted watered down like canned cream of mushroom. The carrots were blackened and dry. Crab cakes were just mildly fishy and soggy around the sides. The service was amazing, but the food and atmosphere were lacking. Just not for us.

We had a party of 6 so they put us in the wine cellar which was awesome. One issue is we were close to the door and it was really cold outside in the low teens. Every time the door was opened it was uncomfortably cold for awhile until it warmed up again. They bring all the food and drinks in that way so it's opened and closed a lot. It would be so much nicer if they could figure a system to keep the cold out. It became the focus instead of the ambience and conversation. Some of our party put their coats back on. The chicken dish which read very well was good flavor but lacked in moisture. Could have been better but was ok. The service was lacking a little due to short staffed or something. Our waitress was working hard to please everyone but was clearly not able to provide the normal service we have come to expect from previous visits. Overall it was a nice evening with friends. And the staff was friendly and doing the best they could.

We arrived at the restaurant at 11 am forniur brunch reservation. The restaurant was very cold, as if they turned the furnace down very low overnight. The restaurant has a prep kitchen across the courtyard so the staff was constantly opening the door to go outside Every time they did, cold air blew in. Even the staff was complaining of how cold it was. We would've loved to have stayed and had a few drinks and dessert with conversation, but the ambiance was not comfortable at all. Disappointing that the management cut costs at the expense of the customer experience.

Chandler does NOT disappoint! Amazing restaurant. Great food. No other place like it. In the summer you feel like you are in Europe eating charcuterie and sipping champagne. In the winter you cozy in their beautiful inside space with open kitchen. Service is top notch. Drinks are unique and bar service is amazing . Chandlers is a staple date night when we are in Petoskey.

Always enjoyable. However, need to eliminate odd items such as bore & add popular items such as lamb.

First time here but definitely not the last. Everything we ordered was good. Highly recommend. Cesar’s salad was great, creme brulee was outstanding, steak was delicious and crab cakes were tasty.
