It felt we were rushed after we asked the waitress not to do so. The chicken was a little tough but at least the scallops were good
Best Dinnner around. They really care about the details. Love the dishes, service is great.
We have been eating here for many years. It is always a treat. Sometimes, we even eat there twice in one three day visit to Petoskey.
Wonderful place. A foodie's delight - creative menu and presentation, and exceptionally good food. It's a small place inside, a neighborhood watering-hole atmosphere, old knotty pine paneling, a bit noisy, and we absolutely loved it. Great food, good wine list, great friendly service. We'll be back - often!
We've come here several times of the years but the last time we were in Petoskey was pre-Covid. Nevertheless, the quality of food and service once again reminded us why we love dining here. Kim was a knowledgeable, friendly and efficient server. The restaurant's wine list is stellar and the ability to buy the wine you drank at dinner at a retail price is a bonus. The foie gras, my wife's scallops and my venison were clearly representative of the culinary excellence Chandler's has strived for over the years and achieved. This is a must stop in Petoskey.
Indoor dining area was small, crowded and noisy. Limited seafood selection. Prices high. Would recommend sitting in back of restaurant with cooler temp. Cold air by front door
Hand down, one of the best meals you will have Up North. The crab cake appetizer and peach Caprese were really delicious. Our guests loved the scallops and duck breast, too. They are not a “one-hit wonder”. I have been a dozen times or more and excellent every time. My one and only complaint is that they pack the dining room in like sardines. It is TOO TIGHT. Feels a little claustrophobic. I also get that they are in high demand and business is seasonal. But I stand by my opinion that a few less seats would dramatically improve ambience and experience.
Chandler's is always awesome. Brunch, lunch, dinner, or just a quick cocktail. We always love them!
Delightful

Classic, stylish, and absolutely delicious! I’ve enjoyed every dish at Chandler. I even visited twice in one day—for lunch and dinner—just to savor one of the most delicious risottos I’ve ever had, along with the crab cake. Everything tasted fresh and perfectly seasoned. The remoulade sauce for the crab cake was incredible, with fresh ingredients that add just the right touch of zest.

Great food, great service...great restaurant
I have been dining at CHANDLERS for at least 25 years -last night i have no idea what was going on-there was smoke in the kitchen the chef was working at a remarkable slow speed going out to the tables and talking to people-there was one waiter for the entire section-it was busy no manager on site we sat at the bar-ordered our food from the bartender-it took well over an hour to even get a piece of bread-my friend ordered a filet and 2 end pieces were served as a filet (for $75) I ordered a fish i've never heard of-they do not serve halibut any longer the filets were thrown over suchatashe skin side up -not appealing the fish had no flavor or seasoning or sauce-we basically turned the food back to the kitchen and left-the bartender comp our dinner! What ashame for such a good restuarant-I'll be back but it's going to take awhile
It was a birthday celebration. As always Chandlers did not disappoint. But they were out of scallops and the venison was tough. Peach salad and crab cakes amazing. So was the filet. Service was outstanding. Always vibrant and loud. A few more meat options besides steak would be nice. Pork chop or tenderloin, veal chop, lamb Chop, beef shank. Always a great experience.
Small little place. Indoor and outdoor seating. We tried a sushi roll for appetizer and I had a salad with walnuts and goat cheese that was wonderful. Someone in our party had the french dip.

This place is always a home run. Creative cocktails and good wine by the glass list, and the food is ALWAYS excellent. One of our favorite places up north.
