We enjoyed delicious ice cream cones -- even splashed out for 2 flavors each! This was our first time at headquarters in Kilwins hometown of Petoskey. We spent at least an hour watching the dedicated workers make coconut marshmallow, solid Santa's for your stocking, and one worker diligently craft the giant milk chocolate Santa -- we got a tasty treat and a story! All folks we encountered were friendly and welcoming.
Stopped by on our honeymoon for great ice cream, but unfortunately experienced rude service by a staff member. Apparently we should not go for ice cream with an hour left until close!
What a great experience - Friday night we had a big group of runners that really wanted ice cream. Kilwins was closed, but they saw our group and let us in!
The girl that waited on us was awesome and patient. Very thankful! We are from Ohio and really enjoyed the ice cream. Highly recommend. They could have turned us away, but they didn’t and that is rare now a days. Next time we are in VA Beach we will definitely come back.
