Food was excellent. We got original gyros and fries. Best gyro meat ice had in many years. Fries were nice and crispy and seasoned well. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Seating was tricky indoors. Each side had A/C blowing on you or you sat next to the trash can and soda machine. Overall, a great experience.
Mims is one of those places you can count on every time. The owner and staff are always super nice, welcoming, and genuinely kind. The food is consistently great, fresh, flavorful, and exactly what you hope for when you stop in. Easily a five‑star spot.
Mims was some of the best Mediterranean food I've had in awhile. There reputation for being Northern Michigan's Favorite Gyro is absolutely true.
Between the Falafel, the Gyro, and the Hummus we couldn't decide what are favorite part was.
Brett had incredible customer service and really made us feel welcome. The atmosphere was family friendly and all around we will be returning. (I think we found a new favorite place)
