Absolutely delicious if you're in the mood for some of the best shrimp you've ever had in your life... You need to go here. The service is great the people are cool and I feel bad for them because the parking lots always empty. But I'm telling you that's why I went in there I felt bad. My wife and I stopped here after she spotted the sign and recalled me talking about eating Scalawags in Traverse City growing up. We shared the whitefish and perch baskets. Both were delicious, and came with an excellent tarter sauce. It's still a great spot to fill your fried fish cravings, especially the whitefish and perch.
I am revising my review after returning to Petoskey scalawags to give them another try. I ordered the perch basket and this time I received 4 large perch filets.
