As always, the food was excellent. Our server, Brittany, was outstanding. The dining room was very busy for a Wednesday night, but the service did not suffer.
Another great meal at Spring & Porter -excellent oysters and Halibut was great as always, and the special Cantonese crispy Walleye was outstanding! Service was equally good. One of our favorite restaurants in Petoskey!
Ordered a bottle of Caymus wine. Price was $105 on website menu. Got our bill - was $150. A 30% difference. I questioned and no offer to adjust. Just “sorry”. To be fair - at minimum - should have split the difference. Moving forward - keep your on-line menu prices current or don't post. Also - when you screw up, admit it and do the right thing. Honor what is on your website. Very unprofessional and self-serving. Had a good meal and not cheap - paid plenty, but lack of ethics spoiled it.
Menu was updated and full of options. Service was great and we were seated in time in a full house. We had trouble getting a pre-dinner drink at the bar, a disappointment. The wine options are amazing. Really enjoy Spring & Porter!
Food was excellent however portions were a little smaller than I would have liked for the money.
Spring & Porter is one of our favorite go to places for great food with great friends. Love the up beat atmosphere. Food is always fantastic as is the service staff. Highly recommend.
Absolute best in town!! Everything on the menu is delicious. Can't pass up wonderful cocktail options
Food was exceptional as was the service. Our only complaint was that the tables for two along the wall are too close together. Hard to have a private conversation and the result is a little too much noise. I would suggest removing a table along that wall.
We love Spring and Porter. Always great service, the best cocktails and a delicious culinary experience. Worth the higher prices for the area.
This was our third time here and everything was as perfect as the last two times. My brother in law had the beef short ribs and I was afraid he was going to lick his bowl. The cocktails were delicious, the heirloom tomato salad was perfect as a half order, the fillet and short ribs were so good and the desserts were beautiful. We've been so disappointed in two old standbys in Charlevoix. This restaurant is worth the drive to go to!

All aspects of the dining experience were excellent. Our server, Brittany, was attentive and spot on. I can't say enough good things about our food, two of us had the halibut and risotto and two had the short ribs and potatoes. We all enjoyed the food, and thought it was outstanding. We had a couple craft cocktails as well that were creative, presented beautifully, and so delicious.
Another wonderful evening in the books thanks to staff/friends at Spring and Porter. Jenny took care of us and is always a delight and on top of all of our needs. She always goes above and beyond when we come in. The food was five star quality, as usual. Never disappoints. Thank you S&P!!!! You're always our first choice for dining and Happy Hour!
Had my 56th Birthday dinner here very flavorful.
Got seated immediately with our reservation. Service was prompt and courteous. Food was outstanding. Menu limited to 6 entrees, but the scallops and whitefish dishes were done to perfection and presented very nicely. Same with the Salads. Definitely would go back again if in Petoskey

We love this place! Have not had a bad experience yet! The service and food are top notch. We started with the oysters. I’ve never had oysters with add ons like this (cucumber and grapefruit). I was skeptical but the flavors all mesh together well. The venison, halibut and filet were all phenomenally paired and the flavor combinations are culinary masterpieces.
