If you’re looking for a unique and elevated alternative to the familiar chain hotel brands in the area, the Terrace Inn and 1911 Restaurant is the place for you. The room itself was charming and quaint, which made for a fun experience. But what really stood out was the exceptional staff at the front desk and in the restaurant. They truly make you feel like a privileged guest in their own home. I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else but the Terrace next time I’m in Petoskey.
This historic hotel brought us great pleasure and sent us back in time. It is set in a historic community with cottages all around. The service was excellent and the food incredible (try the white fish plank). Our room reflected the time period of the 1911 build - small and quaint but with acceptable bath accommodations. This 3-floor hotel does not have an elevator so make that note when reserving.

We were celebrating my daughter's birthday. It was very nice that they recognized my daughter's birthday and she received a dessert with a candle. The food was delicious. Our sever was outstanding and the ambiance was incredible. Thank you for wonderful evening.
