“Our waitress was very helpful she brought over out breakfast of Chorizo con Juevos (awesome)and Eggs not your typical greasy chorizo it was the most flavorful and no grease residue or aftertaste that usually stays with you all day. Eggs Rachancheros / green sauce that were cooked perfect. As for the atmosphere it's a Bar , Mexican rough apparently the fights are mostly in the men's bathroom.. beat up..🤠 I will return for a different dish to try out next time. Enjoy!”

Stopped by El Toro Bar & Grill in Pontiac, MI, and overall had a pretty good experience. The service was fine—nothing exceptional, but attentive enough. I ordered a meal that came with generous portions, which was definitely a plus. You won’t leave hungry.

The atmosphere is colorful and lively, though I have to admit the Day of the Dead skulls in the decor caught me off guard. They’re artistically done, but something about them felt a little creepy to me—not quite the vibe I expected when sitting down to eat. Might just be personal taste.

All in all, it was an okay visit with solid food and a festive setting. Worth checking out if you're in the area and curious.”

“I'm from upstate NY and was in the area for work training, looking for a good lunch spot. Within 2 steps in the front door, I knew I was in the right place. It was very clear that this is where the neighborhood locals eat. My coworker and I were quickly greeted by one of their great employees and our order was taken at lightning ⚡ speed. I've been here now on 4 different occasions with months in between and every time, I swear it's the best damn bacon cheeseburger I've ever had every single time. Not to mention the addictive and delicious mountain of fries served with it. I wouldn't change a thing about this place, and I make sure to stop if I'm ever in the area!
Sidenote - I won't even tell anybody at my training the name of it or where it is because I don't want my favorite lunch spot to get too blown up. IYKYK??”

Also we do notice that when we order with him it always a bit more $$ than usual. Not sure why but we trying going when we see that one of the girls are there. Their portions are quite generous, and you have several options for sauces and toppings. I order the Beef Shawarma, and at $8, I get two delicious meals for the price of one! (Admittedly, as a Senior, I have a small appetite.) Staff is always friendly, and they even put my "sauce on the side", so it still tastes fresh for my leftovers. I've frequently seen work crews there ordering Shawarma's multiple chicken wing deals. Give them a try!”

For the people who don't understand- ordering a water and not paying for it doesn't make you a customer-It's not illegal to kick out somebody who is loitering.

This bar lets in plenty of people who need to warm up or use the bathroom. They're real easy to deal with as long as everybody is respectful of one another.

Ordering a water and taking up a seat in a bar that only makes money off of selling drinks and then wondering why you got asked to leave isnt ridiculous But maybe it's why you don't own a business yourself. 🧘‍♀️

“We stopped for the first time after church to see why it was called Manhattan FISH and chicken. I remember having fried fish in New York and the memory lingers. My husband is from Louisiana and so I ordered both the cod and the catfish. Both delicious and my husband said it was the best he had tasted in a long time. Macaroni and cheese and the coleslaw were a nice addition to our Sunday dinner. We were wished a pleasant day and they said "see you next time" .... there will definitely be a next time.”
