I have enjoyed the food and atmosphere at Kate’s on many occasions, public day to day and private events as well, she and her staff are hands down as good as it gets! The food and drinks are always inviting and fresh, love everything about Kate’s Downtown!
I’ve been to Kate’s 6-7 times. In the past had positive experiences, the food has been good and fresh. However, our last trip there for breakfast was awful. Four people were working who did a lot of standing around, there was only one person ahead of us in line and only 3 tables occupied. Apparently toast and coffee takes 45 minutes to prepare. When it finally arrived, it was cold and the bread was so stale I could not eat it. Thankfully we ordered a nice scone...
This is my favorite place to eat breakfast or lunch in Port Huron! They are so nice, the food is so good, especially the coffee choices and soups!!
