First off love the decor and what looked to be local art, another nostalgic experience with the free to play arcade machines and the old school 80s music.The place is cozy and welcoming off first glance and there's some cool history to the building, not to mention the old safe with sweet marine themed murals depicting a sailboat.The owners seemed super cool and very friendly and welcoming.Now on to the food,I had the 540 lordy and honestly I don't think I've ever had a sandwich...read full review

Discovered them a few weeks ago during the Artsy event. Today i was in the area and tried them. The building and decor is the bomb, with local artists selling their pieces on the wall. The place was clean, as was the one restroom. There is ample dine in inside and on the boulevard outside as well as carry out. The staff were friendly and helpful wading through the 2 page menu, helping me select a sizable sandwich that came with potato chips. I added a fresh-made berry dessert...read full review

I love this place!I've tried every sandwich on their menu (and some not on the menu) and I haven't been disappointed even once.They use Boar's Head deli meats and cheeses and homestyle corned beef and pulled pork and sell local michigan sodas as well.Get in there and get some lunch!Vegetarian options: The Meatless in Seattle is AMAZING!
