Exquisite farm-to-table fine dining experience
This place is fantastic we drove an hour and a half was not disappointed
Service was wonderful atmosphere was obviously perfect and our lunch was a breath of fresh air. It’s been a while since we have gone to a restaurant where everything was good. You can taste the difference in the ingredients and the food. We will definitely be back.

On Water Dining is a restaurant in Port Sanilac with a great view of the marina and Lake Huron. The restaurant is beautifully redone, intimate yet modern upscale casual. There are three dining choices: outside on the balcony overlooking the marina, a chefs table around the kitchen, and tables. The service is wonderful, friendly, attentive and professional at all levels. The atmosphere is perfect. The food is excellent, elevated and sophisticated. Ingredients are sourced from local growers and you can taste the difference. The menu includes BLT, beef barley soup, vegan tofu sandwich, shrimp skewer and bacon jam, mussels, tomato & ricotta tartine, dauphinoise potatoes, lamb meat balls, tomato and ricotta salad, basil haden old fashion, desserts, NY Strip with cognac sauce, smash burger, spinach & fresh fruit salad, and whitefish Nicoise salad. Everything is very good with nice presentation. Reservations are a must for weekend dinners. This is a new favorite in Port Sanilac.
