Both servers were friendly and professional. My wife had the perch basket, and said she thought it was very good. Would definitely come here again.“
“We eat here quite often and love having a restaurant/bar in town again. The food is always good, and reasonably priced. I love the grilled chicken salad, and the reuben sandwich. I also appreciate that they'll do a grilled cheese for my toddler since he usually eats four bites.“
“I've lived in Kalamazoo my whole life and had never been here. Not much of a bar person really, but my work has our Christmas party there. The food was amazing!!! I have not had onion rings that good in a while and the burger was just as good. Our server was amazing they should give her a raise. She was waiting on us as well as the regulars. “I don’t usually do reviews… but this place rocks! The menu isn’t huge but there’s beauty in that simplicity. Everything we ordered was excellent, perfectly seasoned and portioned. Two tacos with some sides like salsa or guacamole was just the right amount. Our family left feeling satisfied and not bloated or gross if that makes sense. Service was great too, and food came pretty quick. It’s not Taco Bell or a traditional Mexican restaurant so expect to pay a little more for it. If you want some of he best street tacos in Kalamazoo, check these guys out. They got mixed drinks too. Can’t wait to try the shrimp tacos next time we go.“

We were very happy:Food - Our daughter had a burger which was large, I had the fish tacos, my wife had pizza, my son had the mac n cheese brisket, and our other son had a kid’s cheeseburger. We also ordered an appetizer and drinks. Everything tasted good and was hot.Service - Our waitress was attentive and helpful.Atmosphere - Nice vibe and fun atmosphere. “went to The Old Goat Tavern for the first time yesterday and it was absolutely delicious. The goat fries are to die for, the burger was delicious, the fried pickles were perfect, and the drinks were strong. The staff was also fast and friendly!“

“About two weeks ago I stopped in to Burdicks for dinner as i was in town on business.I had never been before and was not expecting much from a hotel restaurant.I was happily proven wrong.The atmosphere was great, it was fairly busy and a very jovial crowd was watching sporting events on the many televisions in the bar area where I was seated.I ordered the Herb crusted Salmon and it did NOT disappoint! And the asparagus accompanying it tasted as if it was picked fresh that day.As I was finishing up my meal and waiting for my bill the manager, Terry (I believe), came over to ask how my experience was.I told him I was very happy and surprised by how excellent the meal and atmosphere were. He thanked me profusely and welcomed me back next time I'm in the area. He was a very jolly fella and seemed very happy to be entertaining and catering to his patrons.All around a great experience and I look forward to my next visit to Burdicks.“
