Random Road Trip #93--This was a recommended stop by an owner and it didn’t disappoint–This was a two-fold type of “restaurant and take out” type of place…while its not a typical restaurant and bar, it is definitely a place where we will stop in again either to grab lunch or dinner or get something to eat later! GREAT brisket and wraps and ssooo many choices to take with you to go either already prepared or take and bake!
Picked up up the small Thanksgiving meal for up to 4 people. Everything was well packaged with clear instructions for heating the different dishes. The smoked turkey was outstanding! Good value and tasty.
Well this was really disappointing, sad to say 😞 everyone was commending the brisket but I got 2lbs @ $25/lb and it was very dry with very little fat and was quite tough. This was supposed to be a special treat but I'd have preferred a $10 Meijer steak that I cooked with no talent or skill. This was my first time here and I'm open to the possibility that this was really bad luck since people really like Barrett's.
