First I would like to say, Bob Evans was my daughter’s favorite place for breakfast. This is no longer true. We went to the Bob Evans on Westnedge Rd, in Portage MI. This is our third time since moving here a few months ago. We always got the same waiter, same result, very slow and not attentive to us at all. Each time I came, I had to get up and go to ask for a coffee refill. This time, her service was as usual and when our food finally arrived, I told her that I did not get the cheese, which I ordered, on my eggs. She told me that she would be back, take my eggs and put some cheese on them, and that she had customers in order, which she had to attend to. I politely said don’t worry about it, because we were hungry at this point, she smartly said “OK!”. When she came back to our table, not to see if we needed anything, but to check us out, I asked her I I could ask her something and she replied “sure”. I said, May I ask why, when a customer informs you of a error in their order, why wouldn’t your first response be, Sir, I am sorry, please let me make it right? This lady told me that, “If that’s what you want me to say, I will”. I asked for the manager. When I explained everything to the manager, she told me that she was sure that the waiter didn’t mean it as I took it, and during all the time that I was speaking with the manager, my waitress had gathered a crew looking and pointing towards us. Totally unprofessional trough and trough, from the waitress to the manager, we will never go back!

Were here on a business trip and haven't had Bob Evans since we were kids.... came in on 3/4/2024 at 12pm.... the hostess who was working was awesome.... and Danielle is one of the best servers we have had in a long time! If you go, ask for her... entire staff was very sweet and made the whole experience great. If we're ever back in Michigan we will be back for sure.

all food was cold, sausages were crispy cold and bacon is hard and cold. I suggest training cooks or you train them to serve fresh food. All was extra overdone and dry. A bad cook will ruin your business. Make them cook hard meal for you. No more hiring mistakes. God bless your business. Hope it's better next time.
Always get the breakfast and it's always good. Wife got a new item, 3 piece fried cod good stuff and waitress was very attentive.

I go to Bob Evans a lot cuz there's not many places left to go to in Kalamazoo michigan. But I'm so sick and tired the coffee's cold the food is cold that's totally on acceptable and it's way way too many times not two three four times not 10 times not 20 times over 30 40 times we're going to have breakfast and the food is always cold they have one way to and one server one server for the whole dining area I'm sick of getting cold food cold coffee it's an a point where you don't want to go there anymore not for the price we pay two people this morning $28 in change that's absurd

Store was clean but careless service and seemed to not get the drinks correct also forgot about my one of the meals we ordered. Not my best time.. was also told before I'd get a gift card and also never received it because there was hair wrapped up in my napkin and silverware. ..
