One of my top 5 places to eat in kalamazoo. Love this place to death and always recommend to others. Only rarely am I dissapointed by a dish or wasint prepared like im used to. 8/10 its exactly what I want in terms of spice and variety. Inside is very eccentric with lots of fun tables to sit at in a fairly large area that happens to take up 1/3 of their market. The portage full resturant is just as good or better for food and atmosphere and I like how their menus change at each....
We had the Spicy Miso and Szechuan Beef Noodle soup. The spicy miso was very average, maybe even slightly below average. Portions are small. Pork was dry. Noodles are instant. Only the broth is acceptable but it’s not special by any means. At $14 it is a disappointment. 3 star product and I am being generous.
