First of all, the food is amazing and we had no issues with the food. However, we asked for a peanut butter mocha because it used to be on the menu and were told they couldn’t do it. Then we asked if they could just put peanut butter at the bottom of the cup and literally just make a regular mocha and the barista straight up refused to do it. Our server was amazing, but the barista is rude.
Prior to arriving, I had a horrible customer service experience at Hilton 2. Rather than getting on the highway frustrated to head back to GR I decided to get breakfast. I googled breakfast near me and City Cafe had 4.5 stars. Of course I clicked directions. The cutest gathering spot. Very kind staff. I told my waitress I was bummed and she said “well let me spoil you”, and she did exactly that. I choose comfort food, the fried chicken biscuit and gray bowl with a pumpkin...
