I came to celebrate my mother's birthday and we got promptly seated right at 5 on a Friday. the service was polite and attentive food was tasty and the restaurant was tidy.

The service and food is usually pretty on point at Lat42. I had an “off visit” at another location a while back. On a more recent visit, I visited the Portage location and had great service from Justin, like we usually have from Lat42. Toward the end, Sue was making her rounds as usual, and I shared our previous experience. She sat down, and showed how much she appreciated us sharing the experience, that she really cared and was sorry, and made things right without even being asked to. It’s great to always see familiar faces there, as that means they also treat the employees well. Sue always seems to make her rounds each time I’ve been there and shows how much she cares about the customers experience. I highly recommend.

Burrito bowl was “meh.” The street corn dip was equally just okay. The burgers ordered at the table near us smelled fantastic-should have ordered that! I don’t advise trying The Dude Abides cocktail. It is pictured and tasted pretty bad.

We had a great experience here last week! I had the salad with the bleu cheese and beets and it was soooo good. I also had some gluten free mac & cheese and I really appreciate that they offer gf options! My boyfriend had a burger and fries and thought the portion was perfect and really enjoyed the meal. We sat at the bar and the bar tender was awesome! She was so nice and had great recommendations, could answer all our questions, and kept our waters full. I wish I could remember her name. It was last Sunday evening (3/10/24). Thank you!!!

It was a spontaneous stop. We passed by heading over to main drag for shopping and the parking lot showed promise as it was full of cars. One hour later we circled back and it was still full but we decided to stop. A fifty minute wait for table but we sat at the bar and got immediate service. So a order of awesome truffle fries and 2 safe orders of burgers and we were left with nothing but glowing reviews and full bellies. I did have a wheat beer and it was good but I wasn't looking to critique the beer on this stop. I definitely will return and do a flight to really take in that aspect. It is with reluctance that I do leave this review as it was busy enough, and the accoustics lead to louder than I desired for a atmosphere yet I will definitely return without question.

Traveled to Mchigan for a short getaway. We stayed in Portage, and jokes up Latitude 42 Brewing Company. What a wonderful experience!! We sat at the bar,and had the nicest, most informative bartender. He helped us select our beers, and our dinners. My husband truly enjoyed his shrimp & rice dinner, while I had shrimp tacos that were delightful. Will definitely stop there again
Um, they have plenty of seats but they seat you in the back corner. Happened twice, won't be back. Low staff? They can't walk another 40 feet? Bull.

I think I accidentally called the wrong location at first, but the answer to the question, "is there a wait" should be answered with a time frame, not "it's first come first serve" ???Went back, had AMAZING old fashioned. The cherry was amazing and the bourbon was a perfect match!
