After our family tour of the Iron Mountain Iron Mine, we stopped at The Pasty Oven, and it turned out to be a great choice. It was 87 degrees outside and the air conditioning was down, but the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable — even sharing their fan to help cool things off. Despite the heat, the experience was excellent. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. A memorable stop with genuinely kind people and great pasties....
Only place we go I admit I haven't tried every single pasty shop in town yet... But I'm so far hooked on the rutabaga!!! Love digging in to the steaming hot pasty watching cars!! And to the friendly ladies who give our fur balls a smile and a lil love 😘
Seriously the best in the UP. The variety is amazing and so is the taste. Out of town guests are treated to these every time. And they always love them. Prices are reasonable, especially considering how much food is costing nowadays. High recommended. Very niiice
