“Whoa. Pump the breaks. If you’re looking for the best breakfast in Frankenmuth, here it is. Finally! We’ve lived here for 10 years and have been patiently waiting for something like this. I ordered chicken and waffles, my husband got a farmers breakfast with scrambled eggs and bacon and we shared a side of plantains, grits and festival. AMAZING. The service was outstanding and the chef came out and checked on us and we had a great conversation with him. It’s a vacation right at home. 10/10.”
“My family, partner, and I all decided to go out for Easter breakfast. I called about 2 hours before we arrived to confirm their business hours, and was pleasantly greeted and informed. When we arrived the resturant was bustling with life but with a relaxed atmosphere. The menu options were both consistent with the online pictures and also had seasonal items that were not shown. My mother and grandmother both enjoyed one of the newer lump crab eggs benedict, while I tried the scallop eggs benedict, and my partner tried their menu classic lavender pancakes. We were all blown away by the attentative service given and the attention to detail. Our server reccomended starting with a cinnamon roll for the table, as it was one of her favorite items, and she was right to do so! I myself had a chamomile soda which paired perfectly with the sweetness of the warm cinnamon roll.As for our meals we were all pleasantly surprised by the freshness of everything. Not often do you recieve breakfast items at the price point we had that actually were worth the price reflected. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and the portions were filling, if not large for the pancake breakfast! Over all I was impressed with the professionalism shown and the quality of food provided. Our cups were never empty, minds left wondering, or our plates left untouched. Honey B's will see my money again ☆”
“The Kale and Avocado salad with the AMAZING lime vinaigrette dressing. It is the perfect blend of sweet and savory with a hint of sour that is neutralized by the avocado. So good. I asked whether they sold the dressing separately and since they didn't, our waitress Abby got me a takeout container of the dressing.”
“I love crepes, so when I saw there was a crepe place near Bavarian Inn, I had to go! The inside looked like you were sitting outside somewhere in Paris. It was so cute! The service was great and everyone was friendly! We went two days in a row because they were so good. We ordered: Banana Nutella - good amount of Nutella and banana Bananas foster - the butter and brown sugar sauce was delicious and loved the crunch of the pecans Bavarian - sausage and kraut. It was good, but my least favorite Sierra - our ultimate favorite! Loved the combination of bacon, turkey, and spinach We all enjoyed and can't wait to go back next time we visit!”
“We had your pepperoni pizza last night. It was very good! Keep up the good work! The only comment we would like to make is that it was very quiet in there. Need to add some music for background noise or if you don’t have TVs maybe add a few for patrons to enjoy.”
“A delightful surprise in Frankenmuth! You can enjoy an elevated dining experience here and leave the trademark chicken dinners behind! Everyone in our party was very pleased with our meals from the wine selection to the dessert coffee. We will treasure the memories of this meal, which truly enhanced our time together for our small family reunion.”
“Our friends had been here before but we had not. It's was a bit noisy but our waitress was great. We had fried pickles and they were delicious. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and a Philly cheese steak pizza. They were both too big for us, lol, but was also delicious. We will go back for sure next time we are in the area!”
“Great ice cream, lots of flavors. Spent the day at the water park, cake here afterwards with the kids. Plenty of benches to sit on outside. Huge portions as well.”
“This is mostly a store front. There is a very small dining area. We come here every time we visit Frankenmuth. It really has the best tasting cupcakes I've ever eaten. They are a good size, with a wonderful texture. They are sweet but not so much that makes your teeth hurt. They do offer some gluten free options in the store. They also sell macarons and from what my wife tells me, are very good. They also sell dog treats. The nice thing about the cupcakes is that they freeze well and taste great out of the freezer.Vegetarian options: They do have gluten free options. Not a lot of display. The staff said if we could allow them 2 days notice they could probably make any type of cupcake.”
“The coffee was amazing. Ella was so nice and very friendly. I like alittle person talk when I go into a small home town shop. The owner also was there and she is so nice. I'm coming back.”
“Went with 6 adults and 2 children. And sat comfortable. Got the caboose (steak sandwich) was good. Waitress was nice. Was busy when we got there but still got waited on in a timely manner. Good place for drinks and food.Kid-friendliness: Brought 2 kids under 5, no issues. 2 high seats and booster seat compatible.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible.”
“Stayed for a couple of beers, had never been there before and may not pass again, but got to drink with the wedding party! Extremely kind people to us out of town era.”
“It was nice to me. I can't complain. Staff was friendlyVegetarian options: It had more than one option on the vegetarian menu. Staff was friendly.Parking: Ok, I can't complain.Kid-friendliness: There was kids in the restaurant. I can't complain.Wheelchair accessibility: Good”
“Best waitress Schoni Hope I spelled that right. She made our day today. She is good at her job and friendly and funny. And some how she made you feel special holding the umbrella so it didn’t y away ?”
“Italian steak sandwich, French dip, and cheese curds were all delicious. Nice spot super close to the mall. Out of towners should come here instead of Applebee's and the other awful chains.”
“I took my daughter to a birthday party for a friend of hers and she loved it and I was as well, really nice and I am planning on bringing my son next time... There's a ball guide so he is able to play with the family with that ball slinger! (I'm not sure what it's supposed to be called, but I'm just going with the ball slinger)”
“(3 Star review for atmosphere is a personal preference and not a ding on the shop I prefer an indoor restaurant b/c I hate bugs near my food) Really tasty beignets and coffee, on our way out of Frankenmuth we went here for breakfast and mamma bear did made some really good beignets for us (I ate 4 before we left) she also offered a sample of gumbo which to my taste was a bit mild, but to my delight she mentioned that on request they can make that right and give it the full Louisiana spice (which I look forward to next visit) Mama bear was just a delight, and provided the perfect send off for our trip especially on a cold March morning.”
“I’ve been back twice since the new owners took over. Both times, I got the Philly Cheesesteak because it is so good! My son got the steak sandwich and he loved it. 100% recommend!”
“I love their pizza. They use fresh mushrooms and not nasty canned. Their chocolates and small gift items in the store always suck me in while picking up my pizza. Make sure you try a chocolate dipped strawberry!”
“Cozy atmosphere with great food and the wait staff is very friendly. This little spot in Vassar is a must try! You won't be disappointed!Parking: Come around back to park”
“Had catering done for a work event and Kennedy, the owner, was amazing! Answered all my questions, was timely, and professional. The food was amazing! Every single person had something great to say. Very impressed !”
“Stop in for a great burger or some lottery, and perhaps you might be the next lucky customer to purchase a winning Club Keno ticket worth $880 like some unknown customer did on November 14 2019. Perhaps the bartender knows, hope the winner tipped good!”
“Incredibly friendly staff…always. Love the atmosphere. Never feel rushed. A Fantastic place to spend quality time with family and friends. Make reservations for larger groups and during local events”
“Quick line on a busy festive Friday Christmas shopping. Cole slaw and bread/roll were so good. Tender chicken in gravy (over noodles). Pricey sides but worth it as I took half of everything home. I wish they could "dim the lights" in the dining area.”
“Thier food is good my favorite is the ham cheese burger, nice relaxed atmosphere. It is ran and operated by an awesome friendly couple. Great place to take the family we have gone several times and look forward to going again.Kid-friendliness: Coloring books with crayons available.”
“Great out of the way little bar! Somewhat hard to see the sign at first, but once you know, you know. Great service, great interaction, and very entertaining. Thanks Savannah. We'll be back when in the area. Yoopers J&J.”
“Awesome food & Speedy service every time you step in there. Sometimes it's hard to get a hold of them, but they are worth driving up to order & waiting in the parking lot. They sometimes can't answer phones because they are so busy, but they always do their best. Small family business, with delicious food!!Kid-friendliness: More than willing to put sauce on side, one regular meal can feed 2 kids.”
“Wonderful food (cole slaw was my absolute FAVORITE). Our server was fantastic! Wish I wrote her name down but we had a lovely conversation about her sister who lived in a town in California, which is the town I grew up in. Such a small chance to meet such a kind gal with ties to the same tiny sliver of the world, who loves every bit of her job in the way she does. We will definitely be back! Thank you!!!”
“This was a great place for what we were looking for: well prepared, not overly fancy food for a hungry family after a long day of fun. All of our food (Philly steak, fries, grilled chicken salad, soup …) was very well prepared and served in very generous portions. Cannot say anything about the Italian food because we did not try that.”

“We’ve been here multiple times and it has never disappointed. Decent draft list with wide variety of choices but I come here even if it’s just for food. They have all different types of food so it would surely satisfy everyone in a group. I will say if trying to decide between chips and fries, personally the fries win by a long shot. Chips are midlevel and a little dry but still good if you’re into that. The fries are thicker and more my style. There ranch is also good.”
