“Greek Islands is a local staple for Birmingham! I have been coming here for over 20 years and it’s my kids favorite place. The restaurant bas seemed to be even busier as of late but the quality of service and food has been amazing. I bring friends and family from out of town and they always say “I wish I had this in my town” I look forward to many more years of enjoying Greek Islands.“

First time back post pandemic meeting an old friend and as always delicious.The portions are never small and the waitress has been there forever. “This is my second time coming to this location near my place. I ordered combo number two. It’s pretty consistent across all their locations. They provide excellent service and good food, and they get you in and out. I believe it was, which is too, delicious: Coney dogs, fries, and a drink. Kerby’s is pretty consistent across all their locations. They provide great service and good food and get you in and out.“

“I can't really speak on service and atmosphere, as I've only had their food dashed - HOWEVER! I will say that the quality has never disappointed. Especially their fries, always hot and so well made. Hands down, one of my favorites to order from!“

“The waitress greeted me as soon as I walked in. She said I could seat myself anywhere. She came right away with a menu and asked what I wanted to drink. She came back with water and took my. order. I ordered a farmers omelette cooked soft, and rye toast well done, very good! The presentation was as good to the eye, as it was good for the palette!! The waitress never removed my empty plate, no one likes plates not cleared when done. All the staff were friendly, and the time of day they were slow. I will stop in again when I'm in the area.“

“We had 29 seniors eat here on Saturday, May 4th. The food was delicious and served fast! Gabby was our server. She was accomodating and very cordial. I highly recommend this restaurant and will return the next time we are in the area. Thanks for great service!“

“I’m surprised by the reviews. I had a great experience. All the reviews about the service - it’s not a sit down restaurant. Had the chicken Cesar pita. It was amazing. I’ll be back just for the pita not to shop at the mall! Chicken was marinated, very tender and juicy. Perfect amount of dressing. The Romain was fresh and crisp. French fries were almost like steak fries. Not overly greasy. Highly recommend checking this place out next time you’re shopping at the mall. Prices are typical.“

“We were a large party of 7. Our server was very patient and accommodating with our various requests. Everyone enjoyed their food. I ordered the Cod with lemon butter sauce and it was delicious! As were the sides of roasted potatoes and green beans. I would definitely go back again!“

“Have you ever seen feta cheese that shreds? Because I have never in my life seen a feta cheese that looks like this. I called to tell them they put mozzarella on the salad. They tried to tell me it’s feta it’s just bigger. Feta cheese doesn’t shred. It crumbles“

“I went to leos Coney Island in Sterling Heights around 3 AM after a night out, and I have to say—this place has completely turned around. In the past, it felt like it was going downhill, but last night’s visit changed everything.
The cook they have now is incredible. He’s clearly a professional—his plating was on point, the food came out cooked perfectly, and he handled the entire kitchen by himself with ease. No chaos, no yelling—just smooth, quality work. You could tell he takes pride in what he does.
This kind of effort deserves real credit. If this cook stays, this location is going to be amazing. I’ll definitely be back again“
