this place could not honor a 4 person reservation in a timely manner. Had a reservation for a birthday celebration. Didn’t have any seating or waitresses, or cooks. only three front hostesses that’s could not expedite. Very disappointed and way to ruin someone’s birthday!! will DEF not be back xoxo
Hibachi house is my favorite hibachi place normally but this time was disappointing. We got much less food than normal and I think this was due to two people at the table ordering takeout, so on top of splitting the food with the entire table it was also split with multiple extra boxes. It is an awful practice for us to receive less food because others wanted extra. The food we did get wasn’t cooked the way it normally is, the noodles were cold and undercooked and the rice wasn’t even all mixed together with the soy sauce. The entire table had run out of water for about ten minutes before we could pull someone over and ask for more and the restaurant was not full either. Mostly, it’s just upsetting to pay for a full meal and not receive a full meal.

It was pretty pricey but that's hibachi. 150 for 4 people before tip. Food was great, service even better.

I had such a lovely lunch with my 5-year-old and my little newborn! The staff was super friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I really appreciated the chef's thoughtfulness in ensuring my newborn was safely away from the grill. The food was absolutely delicious, and the whole place had a calm and clean vibe. A wonderful experience all around!

I’ve been coming to Hibachi House Grill & Bar in Rochester Hills for a while now, and it’s consistently excellent. I finally decided it was time to leave a review because this place deserves it. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked.
This time, I had grilled salmon, seasoned noodles, fried rice, and mixed vegetables and everything hit the spot. The salmon was juicy with a nice sear, the noodles were seasoned just right, and the veggies still had a perfect crunch. Paired with great service and a chill atmosphere, it’s one of my go to spots. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

We are regulars here! My kids won’t go anywhere else! I have a kid with food allergies and they always make sure to cook things in an order for his food not to be contaminated!

I went here a while ago, and it was a good experience. The food was the best part. Everything was delicious and well seasoned. On the flip side, I couldn’t understand a word of what the chef was saying and he dropped a oil-drenched mushroom on my plaid shorts. Still, I value food over everything in my reviews, so well done.
The claim they are giving you NY strip and it’s clearly sirloin steak. The cook pulling out a toy that pees on you and squirting my 7 year old daughter in the face isn’t funny either. I would never go back.
