We have dined here for years on our anniversary. Have not been back since 2018.
WAY over priced and the quality went way downhill!
Imagine paying $35 for a dinner of lobster and shrimp and they serve tiny salad shrimp and some nasty lobster ground up? Used to be a dish to be proud of with actual large lobster pieces, saffron cream, and XXL shrimp. What happened?
The Maryland Chicken was no better, canned crab, dry chicken and no sauce with bland rice? What a disappointment!
Our total bill was $151 plus tip for two people. Three drinks, two dinners and one dessert and the quality would have been better at Knapps across the street. Really sad that this landmark, once wonderful restaurant is a place we will never visit again.
We finally tried out the Rochester Hills location and it did not disappoint. The service was great, the food was delicious & so was dessert! We're looking forward to coming back during lunch hours to try some of the sandwiches but dinner definitely left us wanting to come back for more.
Hubby ordered a small pizza & it is a very generous small size. Everything about it just hit the spot. The crust flavor, the bake, the sauce & the amount of toppings. One of the better pizzas that we've had in a long time. I ordered the cheese tortellini with chicken. That sauce... you’ll be using that loaf of bread to make sure you don't miss a drop!
Now, dessert. Chocolate mousse. Sounds basic but wow! Have not had a mousse so thick, so creamy, so decadent. Best mousse I've ever had.
Loud as hell, but Hunter seriously crushed it with the service. For $168, we had an amazing dinner with alcoholic drinks,Bread ,all the works. The grilled chicken tortellini is my forever go-to, and the bread? Unreal. Like, I’d live in their kitchen if they let me. Shoutout to the elite club for saving us $18
53rd Wedding Anniversary. Good meal the flounder was to die for. We'll be back.
Another great choice for a meal in this beautiful city. As we were walking down Main Street, we saw this quaint little stop with the umbrella covered tables outside and stopped for a quick bite. The waiter was amazing. The local beer was so fresh, and the pizza was absolutely perfect for a quick bite. It's definitely the place to stop on our next visit to Rochester.
Our server, Les, was outstanding. He is very personable and funny. He was able to answer our question, offer suggestions, and he never missed a thing throughout or dinner.
Great food experience, they need to put their draft list on their menu, or at least mention that they have draft LOL. They need DRIPA on draft
Always great. Fish and chips were yummy!
Service and food is always great at this place.
I’ve never had a bad meal at any one of their many restaurants. We celebrated my daughter and her graduation this evening with dinner at the Deer Lake Inn. Everything we had was great and the server we had was superb, great food and service. The entire menu is good, you can’t go wrong.

We love their fall menu. Apple margarita, pumpkin espresso martini, butternut squash ravioli, salmon with an apple glaze. Food and drinks were delicious as always. Our server, Alex, didn’t come check on us once after we got our food. Disappointing, but we’ll be back and hopefully get someone else.

We have been to this restaurant many times in the past. While we were in Rochester today we looked forward to having a nice lunch again. We were greeted promptly and taken to our booth. Michael came to our table introduced himself brought the delicious bread and took our drink orders (just 2 iced teas). Those were quickly brought to us. Michael asked if we were ready to order. When we said we needed another couple minutes , he said fine. We never saw Michael again. So after 20 minutes we left. We left $10 on the table for the iced tea and informed a waitress that we had left $10 on the table and that we were leaving. A very disappointing experience today

They seated us without reservations and made accommodations for our friend in a wheel chair. Food, great. Service great. Atmosphere was nice but a little loud.
Wheelchair accessibility: We were able to wheel right in the front door to our table. The server even cleared our exit path so we could get out!
