This restaurant is clearly a local favorite. The place was jampacked with people, and the staff deftly and efficiently handled them. The staff was knowledgeable about the product (I purchased a Coney) . The parking lot was a little bit tight because they were so busy, but there was plenty of seating both inside and outside such that it didn’t feel as crowded as it clearly was.
Lipuma’s Coney Island is more than just a place to grab a meal—it’s a true relic and an irreplaceable part of Rochester, Michigan’s history. I’ve been coming here for my entire life, and every visit reminds me why this place has remained a local favorite for generations. These are the best coney dogs in Oakland County. Staff is friendly. You get your food quick and get to sit down. Pricing is good.
The menu is limited, so if you don't want hot dogs & fries, you should find a different restaurant.
