Oberweis Ice Cream and Dairy Store

I had a very disappointing experience. Before placing my order, I specifically asked if the triple chocolate shake could be made thick, and I was assured it would be. However, after paying $22, I was served a watery shake that was nothing like what I had requested.

When I politely went back to explain the issue, instead of addressing my concern professionally, the staff simply shoved the shake back toward me and laughed. Their behavior was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional.

I wasn’t asking for anything for free I paid $22 and only expected to receive the product I was promised along with basic customer service and respect. The way I was treated was completely unacceptable. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures customers are treated with courtesy in the future.

It's been many years since my last visit. We came here because of the location. We wanted a small ice cream treat thus our visit. The place is fairly big with booths and tables and many large floor to ceiling windows all around. With the large windows, a major issue immediately surfaced upon entering. There was too much sun. Yes, I could tell that customers were trying to find tables to hide from the bright sun. Unfortunately, we were all blinded by the bright sunlight. Not sure why the store doesn't have blinds and if they did have blinds, why they were not used. We truly did not enjoy our ice cream due to this. I had a chocolate chip cone and my friend tried the lemon cream blackberry. Both were very sweet full of sugary taste. I didn't find it to be special at all. Each costs about $8. Yeah, I do understand about inflation, but at that price, I think I can get a quart of ice cream and make my own ice cream cones. I think I will pass next time.

Best dairy parlor in the state. Clean place. Nice staff.

Quality was good...however.
Service was not.
Waited probably 20 minutes for a sundae and finally asked a server ( after trying for 5 minutes to get someones attention)what happened my order.

Very friendly people working here The waffle cone I had was really good but the brownie sundae tasted like batter. We had samples of some of the ice cream flavors and they were all good.

Banana chocolate chunk is quite possibly the best ice cream i've had in my life. Super generous decadent chocolate chunks and the base banana ice cream is also amazing in its own.

I had the triple chocolate shake. It was really good. There's a lot of sitting space at this location and a few tables have chess boards to play.

Excellent milk. Superb ice cream.

Service was excellent and the ice cream was great. I felt it was a great value also. I enjoyed that they have chess sets on the tables!

My son later said he felt this was the nicest ice cream place he's been to. It feels upscale.

Joey was very charismatic and helpful. The cookie dough ice cream wasn't too sweet and had a lot dough chunks in it. I also loved how they had a kids size. Great value.
