Old Detroit Bar and Grille Rochester Hills is a classic sports bar with plenty of TVs and Michigan sports swag. The whipped feta with pita is remarkable; the pita bites are crispy, the flavors go well together, and it is just the right amount. Fish and chips and a burger were both fine. The breading on the fish was tasty, but a bit more than some like, and the onion rings were perfectly done. French fries were thin cut but not hot, so they seemed a little stale.

Burgers and everything else are extremely good. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. The environment can be a little noisy, which is expected for a sports bar. A balcony seat gives a nice atmosphere and there is outdoor seating for nice weather days. The menu is small and hard to read, the music is a bit loud, and the first greeting was not very welcoming, which could be improved.

Pros include nice, attentive staff, a friendly manager, great food, reasonable prices, ample parking, and a Detroit sports flag representing each team. The bartender is super friendly. Overall, the food is great and the team is solid, making it a place worth returning to.
