This is a little gem. Our waiter was a nice young man who was knowledgeable about the menu and was sensitive to my guest food preparation directions. The white staff kept water glasses full and made sure we were enjoying our meal without being intrusive. The serving sizes were appropriate. They have a nice selection of wines. The decor was simple and elegant. We were looking for a quiet spot and the bistro fit the bill. The pricing was reasonable. Highly recommended.
This was our fourth time in ten weeks at Rochester Bistro. The first and second times the food was fantastic. The third time there were no ‘specials' and my husband's swordfish was very over cooked. The fourth time the ‘specials' were not so special. Also, I requested potatoes and received a very strange cabbage dish which had a strange taste to it. I don't think we will be returning again.
One of my wife and my favorite restaurants and there are so many good ones in the Rochester Hills area. I always order the Chicken Limone because it is so delicious I don't want to try anything else. But, I'm sure there are many fantastic dishes on the menu. The craft cocktails are excellent also. The noise level is low enough that you can carry on a nice conversation with your tablemates.
