The Corner Bar was average during our last visit. Service was decent, but the table that we were seated at was still dirty and we had to ask someone to come clean it. They apologized and explained that someone else sat there and moved tables so they didn't notice the mess... The pretzel bites were good, but the bacon on the bacon cheddar dogs was inedible and had to be set to the side. The portion of fries was wanting, but I guess healthier sized. Our server was nice, but another was quite rude. We'll still be back, as our past experiences have all been much better.

Good service, good hotdogs. Bartender cashed me out at the end of his shift. Next shift Bartender ignored the people already at the bar. Did his cleaning of things, and ignored the customers empty drinks and served only someone new sitting down!!!

The maji maji tacos are fantastic. As are the ice box brand ice cream bars. Service was good too.
I used to stop by here before it burned down. Not impressed. Soggy cold chili dog with sweet chili. People were waiting to get in and making reservations for low grade food. Sad.

Can someone from this establishment tell me how - in the middle of the afternoon, less busy than usual - does someone ready to place a take-out order, wait for over five minutes for service? I had to wait nearly the same amount of time just to get acknowledgement from anyone in the waitstaff when I walked in. I just don’t get it. So I just left. Because in Rockford, MI, service is a pretty difficult thing to do.

This place is AMAZING! I highly recommend it for people with celiac disease! This is the only restraunt that my celiac brother feels safe eating at. Not only is it safe, my brother genuinely enjoys it. Good service, kind staff and AMAZING fish, chicken and pretzel bites. Its family tradition to go here.
