Went for the first time (hoping to buy bread, lol, they dont have any). We were impressed right away! First, the prices are amazing for a Rockford restaurant, 2nd nearly everything is homemade!! Down to the French Onion Soup recipe being the same one from the original Arnies I grew up with and was SO GOOD. Next the Chicken sandwich was seriously amazing! The Im a snob for French Dips so that was a 6 out of 10, but thats the only complaint. Even the ranch dressing on the salad...
Very noisy inside, so I prefer to take out .The takeout could be so much better if they would line the paper containers since things like the risotto are wet. I lose all the juice into the container which then gets so soggy it gets a hole. I really hope you will remedy how you package take out. It seems very common sense to make sure you have the proper containers. If not, please line them from now on! Thank you! A loyal customer!
The food was excellent the drinks not so much... I stick with something anyone can make but the 1st one came through tasting terrible and the server tried to blame it on the juice ( I'm also a server I know those excuses!) Then takes it behind the bar where I watch her tell another customer about me and they tried the drink, the one I spit the drink back in.. the replacement drink was amazing so I ordered another and that came as equally disgusting as the 1st so that tells...
