So hard to find a Proper Club Sandwich I grew up on, every place just Turkey n Bacon not my style. Real Club Sandwich Ham Turkey Bacon Mater's n Lettuce, I requested Ham added Thanks Sergio a true winner. Gibraltar Grill downtown for decades, a old school cool Diner. “My family and I stopped here today, during an outing along the surrounding two lakes and river. What a great atmosphere as soon as we walked through the doors - the staff all greeted us with big smiles. All of the servers were amazing, especially towards my 16 month old grandson. I will absolutely say this is a family friendly restaurant, with fantastic homestyle meals - we ordered the fish tacos, broasted chicken, quesadilla, and kid's chocolate chip pancakes. “Visited this bar in the off-season. The weather was chilly but still ready for a beer. Found this gem through Google Maps. I was pleasantly impressed to find Corona and generous slice of lime. That's me...happy! My husband had a Walkerville Honest Lager and a pint of Sons of Kent which was their rotating tap. He loved both! The bartender was pleasant...Abbie...and a lot of fun to chat with. We were joined by a few other people who appeared to be locals and had a great discussion between all of us about sports, local places to go an of course, the beer. Unfortunately, we didn't have time for a meal but the food looked good. Recommend finding your way over to this clean, friendly and fun place if you are visiting Amherstburg.“

“My family has been eating at Mom's for about 20 years(yummy food, sweet bar). That in itself should show how great it is. The best part? Wonderful, friendly, efficient staff. When the staff has stayed with a restaurant for many years it means the owners treat them really well.
FYI During the Covid19 pandemic the owners sent food to the essential workers our local hospital. So caring and generous?.“

“Understaffed, but who is not these days. Waitress did the best she could since she was only one on the floor. Pot roast is typically really good, meat was tough this time and carrots raw in the center. Omelette was runny and little filling. Typically not like this when we eat here . We will go back but was very disappointed this evening for the amount you are billed. Tipped the waitress well as she was stressed but still was smiling.“
