“Pappy's is a well run, genuine country bar, no pretense, just inexpensive food and drinks. Talk to the locals, they are a good group of people. Then try to catch the owner there, an Accounting Professor at CMU, for stimulating conversation.“

“Good food. One thing they have that most restaurants don't have is a 1/2 breakfast order on the menu which is 1 egg, 1 toast, 1/2 meat, 1/2 potatoes. The full order is way too much but the 1/2 order is just right for me. Cost is good also instead of ala carte!!

“We went with my sister-in-law, Linda and her husband, Jim for my wife Pat’s birthday. The service was outstanding as was the food. We have been there more than once and everything is consistently excellent. I left my hat there and they held onto until I could pick it up the next day. We absolutely found their nachos so good that we asked for some to take home. Because we live in mid-Michigan, they went the extra mile by separating all the ingredients into a container of its own. Outstanding!“
