I think this place beats dairy queen, This place is like old and classic, I will never stop coming here. The vannila shakes are delicious. But instead of using stirophome i recommend using carboard. “It's very welcoming, I play pool here on a team, and it's not too bad. It's definitely a normal bar. What you would expect. It has two pool tables, three dart boreds, a bar, a couple tables, and popcorn maker self-serve. The locals are friendly. I haven't had the food but I see it being eaten everytime I'm here. My mom has has it never heard a complaint.“

“I've never had a bad meal at Turk Lake Restaurant & Bar. I live over near Holland but visit regularly when I'm in the area visiting my children. Servers are always friendly and accomodating. I've only had to wait for a seat one time but that was after Central Montcalm HS graduation and we didn't plan ahead. Sunday afternoon I saw and older couple walk in and they stood in shock trying to decide where to sit because the options were apparently too much for them to process. It was either that or the atmosphere at TLR&B was just too awesome to behold.Dietary restrictions: I'm on a low carb diet so the burgers can be ordered bunless with toppings on the side.“

Although they have burgers and chicken tenders, they have a much more extensive menu.Some of my favorites are the Cod dinner, with Fries and steamed broccoli (try that at McD's); the pot roast sandwich; grilled chicken breast sandwich; and, when available (seasonal, perhaps), a delicious Walleye dinner - I ordered a two piece, but the protions were huge and I probably should have had just one.The staff is friendly, and go above and beyond when warranted.It is not truly "Fast Food," as everything is made fresh to order, but service is efficient and timely.The atmosphere IS "Fast Food," but comfortable and clean.Parking: Plenty of spaces, but because of the tight configuration of the drive-thru, you sometimes have to wait behind the line of cars to get to a space.Kid-friendliness: We often take our one-year-old granddaughter, and she loves the food and to sit-up to the BIG table in a high-chair. She likes to flirt with the staff and other diners, who are always friendly and interact with her.“

“We had a reservation for 15 people this last Saturday for my grandma's birthday. We had plenty of room for everyone. Our server was so patient, helpful, and kind! I called two times prior to the reservation and was always able to get through to someone quickly. Everyone enjoyed the drinks and food! I had called to see if we could bring in her birthday cake and our server provided everything we needed to serve it. And she took our group picture and somehow got everyone in! So thankful for the service we received and that my grandma chose Candlestone for her birthday dinner!“
“Came to Belding for a sporting event and wanted a quick breakfast. What a delightful surprise. Fantastic top to bottom. Our server was friendly and fun with plenty of warm ups on the coffee. the coffee was so good I had to ask what it was. Our meals were both delicious and not run of the mill fare at all. if life takes you to Belding totally worth the stop here!“
“10+ years ago, I was coming back from a trip with some friends and we tried to stop here for food but it was too close to closing time for me to push the staff. Instead we drove further into GR and forgot all about it until this weekend, where I found myself sorta lost on those roads less traveled, and found the Clifford Lake Inn. Coming in from the cold, the place welcomes with a warm cozy little bar and live music that was enjoyable. The atmosphere was easygoing and the place a true classic that earned its patina. Bartender was friendly to this stranger and recommended the fish & chips which was delicious. I love finding places like this. Recommended!!!“
