“I had a great experience there yesterday. My waitress, Kelsey, was attentive, friendly, and informative. I included pictures from the breakfast, soup/salad buffet. The breakfast stuff was warm ( loved the scrambled eggs) and the salad bar was fresh. I talked to the manager and told him how highly I thought of my experience. I also shared that it was especially good to see all the waitresses keeping themselves busy, not just standing around. Plus none were on their phones. I will definitely be back.“

“my wife and I have eaten her a few times in the last couple months. it is a real cosy and comfortable restaurant with a good menu. I can personally speak for the Walleye, prime rib and BBQ ribs. they were all excellent! service is just right with friendly servers. I recommend the Winter Inn restaurant.“
“I had an amazing time here with a good friend. We played pool and it wasn’t too crowded. Too many people will have me doing 180’s at the door. My entire first experience here was very welcoming and the drink prices were extremely cheap. I’m ecstatic I was finally able to find a place that makes great strawberry frozen margaritas I’ve been searching for a great one so long and they came through, even superseded my expectations!!!!“

I recently enjoyed their soup flight and grilled cheese special, and I was blown away by the freshness and creativity. The chef is incredibly talented, and the friendly staff makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. It's clear that Smyrna and the surrounding area are lucky to have such a fantastic dining establishment.
What really sets The Smyrna Bar apart is the unexpected quality of the menu. Everything is homemade, fresh, and well-prepared. The live music indoors and even outdoor seating in the summer make it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a summer evening.
It's absolutely worth the drive from Grand Rapids, Michigan, or even Chicago! I can't wait to come back—this place is an absolute must-visit!“
