“Had dinner there in mid-April with some friends. In checking my credit card I found out I was being double billed for the meal. I tried about a dozen or so times to reach them by phone to get it corrected. No one answered the phone !! So I had to file my own charge dispute with my card company. My advice is watch your credit card statements !!!“

“Fun bar with great people, food, and servers/bartenders! It's a bit on the smaller side but I feel like that adds to the charm and making it feel very close and allowing people to be more comfortable mingling with others and making new friends. “I am always very reluctant to walk into a bar. I don't drink, and usually enjoy a chill environment. However I feel like for years I have been seeing Palmer House post pics of a Chicken Parmesan dinner, (which is my #1 favorite meal). Tonight I finally decided to walk in. The waitress was super cool about me not ordering a drink. Another reason I rarely go to bars is I am 16 years sober. It seems some bars don't like if you're in them, and not ordering alcohol. Anyway, I ordered the chicken parm!!! Yes!!! It was everything I thought it would be every time I saw the pictures through the years, I definitely recommend. The atmosphere of the bar itself is pretty fricken neat too. I will definitely be back.“

“Recently had a birthday party, 70’s style, in Miller’s banquet room. Everyone was great to work with and the food was yummy as ever! Ameria was gracious and accommodating. We were able to get in early to hang disco balls and decorate. The large video screens played music videos from the seventies and tables were lined on two sides to create a dance floor. This is a fantastic room for an intimate party under 50. Everyone loved the burgers and the service was outstanding. We will be back!“

“Great "local" establishment with great food. Went on a Friday for fish fry including cod, perch and jumbo shrimp. Salad was crispy and fresh too. Tv's for sports (Tigers, Lion's, Red Wings) great place if you like comfortable and great food and local) we will definitely be back often“

“Went to Black Rock Bar & Grill in Canton. Was my first time. Went there to celebrate my birthday on January 30. What a wonder experience! I could not have chose a better place! The food and service was on point! Our server (Robin) went above and beyond to make this a very enjoyable experience! She was very attentive, kind, super friendly and very professional. Thank you Robin! And oh yes…the food was awesome! My new favorite place !“

“The owners don't care about the patrons.I play pool at strykers twice a week on a legue.It was so hot and uncomfortable that alot of us left early.It is ashame that the owners don't value the pool leagues and the amount of revenue they are bringing in the bar.I feel bad for the wait staff they are good at there job and have to listen to all the complaints because the owners are cheap“

“Took the family here on a Thursday and it was half off apps so we ordered steamed mussels to share, chicken fingers and sliders for my sons, and wings for me and everything was great. Will be back for Sure!“
“We go there for the Friday night Karoke and pizza! Heard they might not be bringing it back, when I called up there. Hope that is NOT true. Looking forward to more kids being brave enough to get up in front of a crowd of strangers and sing their hearts out.“

“Food: I had a Lamb chop dinner well done but the meat didn’t taste well done. I enjoyed my sides. the portions are great and very flavorful. I mostly enjoyed the sauce that comes with the lamb chops, it was sweet and the rest of my food had so much flavor that it was almost too salty.
I enjoyed my lemon drop w/ patron, it was strong but not strong enough with the lemon flavor.
Service: I went on a Saturday during the day and there was only 1 server which is inconvenient because it was partially full and my drink didn’t come until after my meal which I also disliked.
Cost: around 35-40$ per plate and drink
Atmosphere: very cute picture wall!
Parking: street parking or around the corner at movie theater (less than a block).“

“First time for us. Nice menu, friendly staff and owner. Great to see owner managers get to talking to the customers. It was not too busy. We had the chili and chicken tortilla soup, grilled chicken sandwich on brioche and fries. Should go back and try the flat bread or pizza.“
