“Ok so walking in here your greeted by the second best smell in the world.....fried chicken. Normally I go for the bone on fried chicken and its pretty good. Very crunchy and if you get it fresh it's even better. Now today i got the tenders. Flavor was there. Crunch was there. Freshness...was not there. They were cold and I was in a rush. That's not a reflection of the food. Food was Still good. Just not the best it could have been. But I still love kkc and I'll be back.“

“Almost a 5. Staff was friendly, but they overcooked the chicken a little bit. We kept checking to see if was ready, but they kept cooking it and sure enough it was little over cooked, a little dry. It wasn't horrible. So I'm giving it a try again and will see if it doesn't come out so dry the next time around. It's better than the one by 275 at Shell gas station and much cleaner. I'll never go back to the one by Shell gas on Eureka and 275.Edited: I went again and this time the shrimp was overcooked. The tenders were excellent, tender and juicy. But I like shrimp and was sorely disappointed with the shrimp it was dark and they didn't have any honey butter sauce. The best one I've been to was in Hillsdale Michigan, which was my first taste of the place. So all other locations now compare to that one, and unfortunately this one at Star liquor had subpar shrimp. I reduce my rating to a 3.5.“

“First I would like to say the food was freshly prepared in front of us & we had a bit of a wait, but for fresh food I will not complain about waiting!This was my first time here, the food looks nothing like the pictures, however it was very tasty, I was pleasantly surprised!The chicken is juicy, possibly the juiciest chicken I’ve had considering all of the chicken places on every corner & the asked if I wanted lemon pepper in my chicken too(yesss!!) the original sauce really brings out the Cajun flavors in the chicken and they compliment each other perfectly.The honey biscuits were sitting under the lamp for a while and not dripping in butter like I expected, I would probably ask for extra drizzle next time, but still had a nice crust and fluffy inside.The place is a bit run down, not organized & seemingly unclean, but it’s a gas station too, and that didn’t bother me much since I’ve lived in the area forever. “My partner and I were on a delayed flight and had to rush to catch or transfer. We had just enough time to grab something quick, I felt so bad because this Chick-fil-a was about to close but I was greatest so warmly and kindly by “Ari” and “Merriayma” with just minutes before our flight and them closing they still had food ready and were completely kind and polite. Their attitude and professionalism is what’s sets this expectations and an experience apart from the rest. Our food was hot fresh and delicious, didn’t make us feel like we had fast food after being on a flight all day. “Krispy Krunchy Chicken (KKC) is an upstart Liquor Store/Gas Station chicken restaurant. I had 2 pieces of fish and two thighs with 3 Jalapeño peppers. Delicious. This store sprinkles a lemon-pepper seasoning on the chicken as a topping. Filled my hunger and satisfied my capsaicin addiction. Chicken was hot, flavorful, and juicy. I've been to other KKC stores that haven't been as good with quality (possibly because of the time of day), but these guys had it right. Juicy flavorful meat, crunchy skin, and not bad for the price. 2 pieces of fish, 2 thighs, and 3 Jalapeño peppers for $13.60. Will go again.“

“The employees that were working today, on Mother's Day, deserve 5 stars, hands down!! We normally go to Garden City KFC but not anymore. We will drive further to get the fast and kind service from this one. The girl at the counter was super polite and respectful, great attitude, you don't see much of that these days. She deserves a raise. And the food was fast and delicious. Corporate should recognize these employees for working with such great attitude and super fast. Thank you to all of them.“

“The food was good, even though they did not offer what I was looking for, the breakfast bowl. They only offer sandwiches, fruit cups, minis, and more. The spicy breakfast biscuit was pretty tasty, and I always have concerns for airport pricing, but the difference between an entree and meal is 5 dollars. That to me is outrageous even for an airport. But no other concerns otherwise. They open at 3:45 AM, so they are good for anybody with early flights.“
