“Ok so walking in here your greeted by the second best smell in the world.....fried chicken. Normally I go for the bone on fried chicken and its pretty good. Very crunchy and if you get it fresh it's even better. Now today i got the tenders. Flavor was there. Crunch was there. Freshness...was not there. They were cold and I was in a rush. That's not a reflection of the food. Food was Still good. Just not the best it could have been. But I still love kkc and I'll be back.“

“Almost a 5. Staff was friendly, but they overcooked the chicken a little bit. We kept checking to see if was ready, but they kept cooking it and sure enough it was little over cooked, a little dry. It wasn't horrible. So I'm giving it a try again and will see if it doesn't come out so dry the next time around. It's better than the one by 275 at Shell gas station and much cleaner. I'll never go back to the one by Shell gas on Eureka and 275.Edited: I went again and this time the shrimp was overcooked. The tenders were excellent, tender and juicy. But I like shrimp and was sorely disappointed with the shrimp it was dark and they didn't have any honey butter sauce. The best one I've been to was in Hillsdale Michigan, which was my first taste of the place. So all other locations now compare to that one, and unfortunately this one at Star liquor had subpar shrimp. I reduce my rating to a 3.5.“

I really didn’t feel like cooking today, so after work, my daughter and I decided to stop by Westland Fish and Chicken. Let me just say—I usually drive all the way to Detroit for my fish and chicken because I haven’t found a spot near my job that actually tastes good… until now.

Baby, let me tell you—from the moment I tasted those catfish nuggets, I was in LOVE! I couldn’t even take a picture because I started eating right away. The okra? Perfectly cooked and so flavorful. I ordered the 12-piece leg & thigh (crispy), and it was just right—not greasy or tasting like old oil.

And can we talk about the fresh peppers?! You have to have peppers with your chicken—especially if you’re a spicy girl like me! 🔥

Oh, and the crawfish? Delicious. My son gave it the stamp of approval. He tore up the chicken and saved the crawfish for his little “treat” later.

The food was so good, I literally called them back just to say thank you and let them know how much I enjoyed it. Now that’s how you know it hit the spot!

So with that being said, I’ve officially found my new chicken and fish spot when I’m working out this way. Keep up the great work, y’all—you’re doing it RIGHT! 🙌🍗🐟“

“First I would like to say the food was freshly prepared in front of us & we had a bit of a wait, but for fresh food I will not complain about waiting!This was my first time here, the food looks nothing like the pictures, however it was very tasty, I was pleasantly surprised!The chicken is juicy, possibly the juiciest chicken I’ve had considering all of the chicken places on every corner & the asked if I wanted lemon pepper in my chicken too(yesss!!) the original sauce really brings out the Cajun flavors in the chicken and they compliment each other perfectly.The honey biscuits were sitting under the lamp for a while and not dripping in butter like I expected, I would probably ask for extra drizzle next time, but still had a nice crust and fluffy inside.The place is a bit run down, not organized & seemingly unclean, but it’s a gas station too, and that didn’t bother me much since I’ve lived in the area forever. We had just enough time to grab something quick, I felt so bad because this Chick-fil-a was about to close but I was greatest so warmly and kindly by “Ari” and “Merriayma” with just minutes before our flight and them closing they still had food ready and were completely kind and polite. Their attitude and professionalism is what’s sets this expectations and an experience apart from the rest. Our food was hot fresh and delicious, didn’t make us feel like we had fast food after being on a flight all day. “I was never a fan of gas station food, the food was good great for a quick bite, I got the fried chicken tenders. They have a big variety of fried food they will give you a biscuit with it. The guy was nice would recommend if you're passing by.“

“First time I've been to a KFC in at least 6 mo. I hadn't been going quite as often because it seemed like every time I went they were out of something I wanted or my order was cold.
I'm happy to say that this time everything was great.
Very efficient/friendly service and my food was hot.
They also had everything that I wanted to order and this was very close to closing time.
I only gave 3 stars for atmosphere because I didn't go inside. I used the drive thru and I was in and out within 15 min or so. Very good visit. I will return again, and sooner this time.

They are very friendly, polite, eager to please the customers, and put out VERY good food, and I visit regularly, and am always happy with the visit and the food! “For an airport chic filet it doesn’t disappoint. I stopped here for breakfast and they got me through the line fast so no complaints there. Downside is they were out of orange juice which I was kinda craving but I get that happens.

If I’m in this area again it’s a great place to stop.

Meals are like twice the price of just an entree though even for breakfast which is a little outrageous (an additional $6 for potato rounds and a Diet Coke when a bacon, egg, cheese biscuit is $5 seems greedy).“
