I gave it five stars on atmosphere because you know as far as a basic breakfast diner it fits all the bills. Simple clean well-run nice basic breakfast lunch small Diner. As far as the service and food is excellent for a country Lakeside Diner.
Had such a wonderful experience here. I ordered Chef Lisa’s French toast and it did not disappoint! The texture and flavor were on point and the syrup they give you to pour over top is delicious! I’m still thinking about it a few days later lol! The only downfall is that I live 3 hours away! The staff were so friendly and our waitress was so nice!
I came across this gem on my way home from the Charlevoix area. Truly incredible, I cannot say enough. Their homemade challah bread was delicious. I will be thinking about their pancake for a long time. You can tell the owners are extremely intentional on everything from how they train their staff (so friendly) to each ingredient plated. Incredible value for the prices. Highly recommend getting breakfast at Beachwood if you're traveling north on I-75 this summer.
