This was my 2nd visit to the Curly horse. My 1st visit last year was amazing... the view, the service and the food. Unfortunately my 2nd time around was kind of a disappointment. My husband and I both ordered the filet. He ordered it medium rare and I ordered it medium. Both came out significantly over cooked. My steak was well done if not burnt. The server did offer to have it recooked and she was amazing and very sweet. It was unfortunate to overcook a steak that costs that...
The view is one of the best in west Michigan. Tonight, the food matched it. Spot on. Spinach artichoke dip with pita, lightly oecan crusted perch. Outstanding. Server was wonderful too.
Great spot with awesome views. Service was great! Food was so-so. Not that much better than an Applebees for double the price. To clarify we had steaks that were fairly bland and chewy. The other menu items sounded great and so not sure on those tastes.
