The vibe was good in the front room of the restaurant. We were sat in the back room to the left of the main room. It was very isolated, which to some degree was ok but did not provide much of an atmosphere. The servers were very friendly however they were hard to find and did not check on the table often. The wait was TOOOO long. We were there for 3 hours. it was an hour and a half from ordering until dinner was served. Then we had to get up and find the staff for our bill. The...
2nd time dining upstairs with after dinner drinks downstairs in the Speakeasy. 2nd experience was just as good as the first. We like dining upstairs (ground level) as it's quieter. Service is very attentive from hostess, wait staff to chef visiting table. Unique flavorful food and fun tasty drinks. Speakeasy has same menu with livelier fun vibe. Great place for a birthday celebration.
The food at Alchemi is fabulous. We had an unfortunate experience. The server forgot to put our order in and even forgot what we had ordered. We sat waiting and completely ignored as the owner and manager roamed the restaurant. However once we grabbed the owner and explained how upset we were, he went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Mistakes happen. Just wish the recovery had been a bit more proactive. Hopefully this was an isolated incident. It's a great restaurant...
