So all technically was ok. Slow service do to only one waiter. But the bruschetta was completely burnt bread. The cook should have known better. It ruined what should have been good to eat. And then you have the 20% gratuity that the place doesn't mention. That's wrong period.

It was a sunny mid afternoon. Friend and I stopped in for a drink. It was a Monday and martinis were on special. Bartender was friendly friendly and the martinis were great. 🍸

We happened across Bar Louie while strolling through the streets of Royal Oak and decided to stop for lunch. We both ordered the toasted bacon, tomato and cheese sandwich with a soup dipper, and it was absolutely delicious. Such a simple meal, but it was the perfect lunch!

A side note, I’m visiting from Australia, and I still can’t get used to how enormous the drinks are in America. Every time I order one, I’m amazed by the size!
