Nice spot to grab a quick bite if you're in the Royal Oak, MI area. We came after seeing a show at the Royal Oak Theater and it was a good choice. They offer numerous different wood fired pizzas made fresh in front of you in their open kitchen. If pizza isn't your thing there are also many different pasta dishes and small plates available. The atmosphere is casual, and gives you a small Italian pizza shop feel. They also have a small parking lot behind the building to save you from paying to park.

Ordered 4 pizzas to go. They were all delicious and different. The toppings were fresh and the dough was good. Could have been slightly more crispier but certainly acceptable.

We had the strangest experience here. It was lunch on a Wednesday, not busy at all. When we came in there were no employees to be found. We sat ourselves and after no one came over I found the waiter looking out the window and got him to get us some menus. We then got our food and our waiter disappeared again. We were the only table in the restaurant. I had to get another server to get us our bill and a take out container. Our waiter finally showed up again as were leaving. I would not return to this restaurant.

My husband and I ordered a gluten free pizza. The gluten free pizza had charred spots all over, and it tasted bland, also awful there was barely any cheese, a scant amount of mushrooms, and prosciutto. We weren't given any silverware or napkins. My husband had to ask for them to bring some. He asked for parmesan cheese, to sprinkle on the pizza, but never got any. The gluten free pizza was $17.50. The Alfredo with gluten free pasta was $15.00, and you scrimped on the amount of pasta, because the bowl it was served in was not even filled up half way. You're either incompetent and inconsiderate, you deffo are incompetent, or else in such a hurry to serve the customers that you don't notice all the mistakes made, and it's the customers who suffer when you have zero attention to detail. So we had a bog standard meal which makes for a lousy dining experience. The gluten free pasta tasted good, but because the Alfredo sauce was thin, minimal, and tasted like it only had butter and half and half in it, it was terrible. Neither of us tasted any cheese in the Alfredo at all. What a disappointment! You were more concerned about someone's wedding party going on, and neglected to notice what your other customers were experiencing, and the mistakes done to their food. It's been a while since I visited but I'm glad I came back. My lunch was the chopped salad with salmon (seared on the outside and not overcooked on the inside). Attentive service. Quiet atmosphere conducive to a business meeting. In and out in 1 hour.
