I had not been in this donut shop before. It looked charming from the outside & I had called some nearby shops as I had a special request and this gentleman was very accommodating. These were for a memorial service for my brother, he loved a peanut donut! However, there was going to be a lot of food & deserts, so I was seeking 3 dozen peanut donut holes, something smaller than a regular donut. He did it and they were the best, larger than what one might expect. Fluffy....
Excellent donuts! As someone who is incredibly particular about dough quality, I would say this is easily the number one best donut shop around. Love the plain, dipper, and cruller because they have a crispy crust and are not overly sweet. They offer a huge variety of donuts. The cinnamon roll is also a favorite. The coffee is good, the atmosphere is friendly with quick service and cool paintings inside.
Popped in around 10:00 am this morning, the selection looked awesome, and we loved the donuts we chose! Our donuts were the right balance of warm, soft donut, with light crisp from the icing. The person working was so friendly, he totally brightened our day. Definitely worth us driving a little out of our way to visit!
