“I have been going to Olga's for more than 20 years in downtown Birmingham, Troy at Oakland Mall, and now usually in Royal Oak. For years the spiral cut French fries have been my favorite fries at any fast casual chain. Yesterday I was at Royal Oak and the fries have changed for the worse. There is a new batter style and they were too salty. Please bring back the old fries!!!“

It was very salty which I can only attribute to the rice since it’s chicken based the rest was grilled pork and fresh vegetables. I gave up half way thru just couldn’t handle the salty taste. Maybe they should sample it before serving?“

We tried the French toast, pancakes, eggs, sausage, and coffee. My daughter devoured the french toast. I enjoyed my plain pancakes. The chocolate chip pancakes came smothered in Hershey's syrup, which my kid didn't enjoy, but your kid might.“

Watch for daily specials like Fish and Chips and the Greek Gyro. Gyros are why I go, but the patstitso, kebobs, fish, salads, and so much more are on point! It was Super Bowl night so the restaurant was almost empty and we got to stay there a while just chatting and enjoying their delicious food. I ordered a farmers omelette cooked soft, and rye toast well done, very good! The presentation was as good to the eye, as it was good for the palette!! The waitress never removed my empty plate, no one likes plates not cleared when done. All the staff were friendly, and the time of day they were slow. I will stop in again when I'm in the area.“

“They are a cool group. My daughter worked there 30 years ago and had a great time. When she is in town, she picks up their Greek salad dressing -about 8 bottles and several pasta salads. I pick up once in a while their top notch Greek salad.“

“I’m surprised by the reviews. I had a great experience. All the reviews about the service - it’s not a sit down restaurant. Had the chicken Cesar pita. It was amazing. I’ll be back just for the pita not to shop at the mall! Chicken was marinated, very tender and juicy. Perfect amount of dressing. The Romain was fresh and crisp. French fries were almost like steak fries. Not overly greasy. Highly recommend checking this place out next time you’re shopping at the mall. Prices are typical.“

“I went to leos Coney Island in Sterling Heights around 3 AM after a night out, and I have to say—this place has completely turned around. In the past, it felt like it was going downhill, but last night’s visit changed everything.

The cook they have now is incredible. He’s clearly a professional—his plating was on point, the food came out cooked perfectly, and he handled the entire kitchen by himself with ease. No chaos, no yelling—just smooth, quality work. You could tell he takes pride in what he does.

This kind of effort deserves real credit. If this cook stays, this location is going to be amazing. I’ll definitely be back again“
